This policy explains what information BingeScreen collects, why, and what choices you have.
BingeScreen is an app that lets you watch live TV channels, video-on-demand content, and listen to internet radio using playlists that you provide or subscribe to through your own IPTV service provider.
This policy applies to the BingeScreen Android app. It does not apply to the IPTV or radio services you connect to — those are run by independent providers and have their own privacy policies.
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond what is described here.
We do not sell your data. We share limited information only with the service providers below, which are necessary for the app to function.
We may also share information if required to do so by law or to protect the safety of users, though we will always try to inform you of this where the law allows.
Third-party services and links: the app may display content or links that connect to services outside our control — such as your IPTV provider's website or support pages. Once you leave the app or are directed to an external service, this privacy policy no longer applies.
The free version of BingeScreen is supported by ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob.
Premium subscribers see fewer ads — fullscreen video ads are not shown to active subscribers. However, some ad formats (such as sponsored content within channel lists) may still appear regardless of subscription status.
Premium subscriptions are purchased through the Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled by Google — we never receive or store your payment card details or billing address.
When you make a purchase, Google confirms to the app that a valid purchase has been made. We store only this confirmation on your device, not any payment information.
To manage, pause, or cancel a subscription, go to Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions. Purchases are automatically restored if you reinstall the app.
Most of your data — your playlists, favourites, settings, and profiles — is stored privately on your device and cannot be accessed by other apps.
Your parental control PIN is never stored as-is. Only a scrambled, one-way version of it is saved, so even if someone accessed your device's storage, they could not recover your PIN.
We take reasonable steps to protect the data that passes through our systems. However, no app or internet service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We recommend keeping your device protected with a screen lock.
Because most data lives on your device, you control how long it is kept:
When you uninstall the app, Android removes all locally stored data automatically.
BingeScreen is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age.
The app includes parental control features — such as a PIN lock, adult content filtering, and channel blocking — so that parents and guardians can create a safe viewing environment for younger family members. These controls are set up by the account holder and do not require children to share any personal information.
Because the free version of the app shows ads (which may involve the use of an advertising identifier), we recommend that parents of younger children consider using a Premium subscription, which reduces the number of ads shown.
If you believe a child has used the app and provided information without your consent, please contact us using the details in the section below and we will address it promptly.
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We aim to respect these rights wherever we can.
Ask us what information we hold about you.
Ask us to delete your personal information.
Ask us to fix inaccurate information.
Ask us to stop processing your data in certain ways.
Change your mind on ad personalisation at any time.
Request a copy of your data in a usable format.
Because most of your data is stored locally on your device, many of these actions can be taken directly within the app — by deleting playlists, clearing history, or uninstalling. For data held by third-party services (like Google), you may need to contact those services directly.
To make a request or ask a question about your privacy, please use the contact details in the next section.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and show a notice within the app.
We encourage you to check back occasionally. Continuing to use the app after a policy update means you accept the revised policy. The current version is always available under Settings → Privacy Policy in the app.
If FuzzyVoid is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In such a case, we will take reasonable steps to ensure the new owner continues to honour the commitments made in this policy. We will notify you of any such change by updating this page.
If you have a question about this policy, want to make a privacy request, or have a concern about how we handle your data, please get in touch. We try to respond within 30 days.
