1Overview

BingeScreen is an app that lets you watch live TV channels, video-on-demand content, and listen to internet radio using playlists that you provide or subscribe to through your own IPTV service provider.

The short version: BingeScreen does not require you to create an account. Almost all of your data stays on your device. We use advertising to support the free version of the app, and payments are handled entirely by the Google Play Store — we never see your card details.

This policy applies to the BingeScreen Android app. It does not apply to the IPTV or radio services you connect to — those are run by independent providers and have their own privacy policies.

2What We Collect

Information you give us

  • Playlist links and streaming credentials — the addresses and login details for your IPTV service. These are stored only on your device and sent directly to your provider when you stream. We never see or store them on our servers.
  • App settings and preferences — things like your chosen theme, player options, and display preferences. Stored only on your device.
  • Favourites and watch history — the channels and stations you save, and the content you've watched. Stored only on your device.
  • Parental control PIN — if you set one, only a scrambled version of your PIN is saved on your device. The actual PIN is never stored anywhere.
  • User profiles — profile names and their individual settings. Stored only on your device.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address — when the app communicates with external services (such as loading ads), your device's IP address may be received by those services as a standard part of internet communication. We do not store or log your IP address ourselves.
  • Advertising identifier — when you use the app, Google's advertising service may collect your device's advertising ID to serve ads. You can reset or opt out of this in your Android settings.
Note on Android and Google Play Services: Android and Google Play Services may independently collect certain device-level or diagnostic data as part of the platform, regardless of which apps you use. This is outside our control. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on what the Android platform collects.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, payment details, physical location, microphone recordings, or your contact list. The app may request camera access to scan a QR code when importing a playlist — no images or video are captured or stored by the app.

3How We Use It

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond what is described here.

4Who We Share It With

We do not sell your data. We share limited information only with the service providers below, which are necessary for the app to function.

Google AdMob

  • Used to show ads to free-tier users.
  • May receive your device's advertising ID and basic device information.
  • Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Play Billing

  • Used to process premium subscriptions and one-time purchases.
  • Handles all payment information — we never receive your card details.
  • Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Your IPTV provider

  • Your streaming credentials are sent directly from your device to the provider's server when you connect to a stream.
  • We do not see or log these credentials. Your provider's own privacy policy applies to this connection.

We may also share information if required to do so by law or to protect the safety of users, though we will always try to inform you of this where the law allows.

Third-party services and links: the app may display content or links that connect to services outside our control — such as your IPTV provider's website or support pages. Once you leave the app or are directed to an external service, this privacy policy no longer applies.

5Advertising

The free version of BingeScreen is supported by ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob.

Premium subscribers see fewer ads — fullscreen video ads are not shown to active subscribers. However, some ad formats (such as sponsored content within channel lists) may still appear regardless of subscription status.

6Subscriptions & Payments

Premium subscriptions are purchased through the Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled by Google — we never receive or store your payment card details or billing address.

When you make a purchase, Google confirms to the app that a valid purchase has been made. We store only this confirmation on your device, not any payment information.

To manage, pause, or cancel a subscription, go to Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions. Purchases are automatically restored if you reinstall the app.

7How We Keep It Safe

Most of your data — your playlists, favourites, settings, and profiles — is stored privately on your device and cannot be accessed by other apps.

Your parental control PIN is never stored as-is. Only a scrambled, one-way version of it is saved, so even if someone accessed your device's storage, they could not recover your PIN.

We take reasonable steps to protect the data that passes through our systems. However, no app or internet service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We recommend keeping your device protected with a screen lock.

8How Long We Keep It

Because most data lives on your device, you control how long it is kept:

When you uninstall the app, Android removes all locally stored data automatically.

9Children

BingeScreen is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age.

The app includes parental control features — such as a PIN lock, adult content filtering, and channel blocking — so that parents and guardians can create a safe viewing environment for younger family members. These controls are set up by the account holder and do not require children to share any personal information.

Because the free version of the app shows ads (which may involve the use of an advertising identifier), we recommend that parents of younger children consider using a Premium subscription, which reduces the number of ads shown.

If you believe a child has used the app and provided information without your consent, please contact us using the details in the section below and we will address it promptly.

Because most of your data is stored locally on your device, many of these actions can be taken directly within the app — by deleting playlists, clearing history, or uninstalling. For data held by third-party services (like Google), you may need to contact those services directly.

EU/EEA and UK residents: you also have the right to raise a concern with your national data protection authority if you feel we have not handled your data appropriately.

California residents: you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for advertising purposes. You can do this by adjusting your Android advertising preferences or by contacting us directly.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and show a notice within the app.

We encourage you to check back occasionally. Continuing to use the app after a policy update means you accept the revised policy. The current version is always available under Settings → Privacy Policy in the app.

12Business Transfers

If FuzzyVoid is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In such a case, we will take reasonable steps to ensure the new owner continues to honour the commitments made in this policy. We will notify you of any such change by updating this page.

13Contact Us

If you have a question about this policy, want to make a privacy request, or have a concern about how we handle your data, please get in touch. We try to respond within 30 days.
