Getting Started

Open BingeScreen and tap Add Playlist on the home screen. Choose one of the following methods:

  1. M3U URL — paste the URL to your M3U/M3U8 file.
  2. M3U File — pick an M3U file from your device storage.
  3. Xtream Codes — enter your provider's server URL, username, and password.
  4. QR Code — scan a QR code shared from another device.
Tip: You can add multiple playlists from different providers and switch between them from the home screen.

No. BingeScreen requires no account, no sign-up, and no email address. All your data — playlists, favourites, watch history, profiles — is stored locally on your device.

BingeScreen supports:

  • M3U / M3U8 — the standard playlist format, loaded from URL or local file.
  • Xtream Codes API — server/username/password authentication with VOD and series support.

Your IPTV provider should supply one of these. Contact them if you're unsure which to use.

Watching Content

Tap any channel or item in the list to open the player. For series, navigate to the show, pick a season, then tap an episode. Tap the screen to reveal playback controls: play/pause, seek bar, volume, and fullscreen toggle.

Tap the search icon in the top bar. Start typing a channel name, movie title, or series name. Results appear instantly across live TV, VOD, and series from all your playlists.

Managing Content

Long-press any channel or content item and tap Add to Favourites, or tap the star icon in the player overlay. Favourites appear in a dedicated section at the top of the home screen.

Long-press the channel, then tap Move to…. A category picker appears — select the destination and the channel moves immediately.

Tip: You can also drag-and-drop within the same category. Enter edit mode by tapping the pencil icon in the category header.

Go to Settings → Playlists, tap your playlist, then tap Refresh Now. You can also set an automatic refresh interval (daily, weekly, or on app launch) from the same screen.

Profiles & Settings

Go to Settings → Profiles → Add Profile. Give it a name and optional avatar. Each profile has its own favourites, watch history, and parental settings. Switch profiles from the home screen avatar picker.

Go to Settings → Parental Controls and set a PIN. You can then lock:

  • Individual channels (long-press → Lock channel)
  • Entire categories marked as adult content
  • The Settings screen itself

Locked content shows a PIN prompt before playing.

Advanced Features

Go to Settings → Playlists, tap the playlist, then tap Export as M3U8. Choose to export the full playlist, favourites only, or selected categories. The file is saved to your Downloads folder and can be shared via Android's share sheet.

Long-press any channel and tap Share via QR. A QR code is displayed on screen. The other person opens BingeScreen, taps Add Playlist → QR Code, and scans it. The QR encodes a bingescreen:// deep link — no third-party service involved.

Tip: You can also share an entire playlist via QR from Settings → Playlists → Share via QR.

Tap Add Playlist → QR Code and point your camera at the QR code. If someone sends you a bingescreen:// link, tap it and BingeScreen will open the import dialog automatically.

Premium & Billing

Premium unlocks multi-profile support (separate favourites and history per person) and playlist export (save channels to M3U8). Future premium features will be added at no extra cost.

Troubleshooting

Try these steps in order:

  1. Check your internet connection.
  2. Refresh the playlist (Settings → Playlists → Refresh Now).
  3. Try a different stream URL if your provider offers alternatives.
  4. Switch the player decoder in Settings → Player → Decoder.
  5. Contact your IPTV provider — the stream itself may be down.

Force-stop the app and relaunch it. If the problem persists, go to Settings → Storage → Clear Cache and make sure you're on the latest Play Store version. If the issue continues, contact support@fuzzyvoid.com with your device model and Android version.
